St. John Lutheran Church welcomes all!!!

St. John Lutheran Church is open to all worshippers. Hand sanitizer is available to use when you walk into the church if you wish to use it.

Worship Services are Sundays at 9:00 am with Sunday School for the children following the Children's Sermon. Confirmation Classes are Sundays at 10:15 am (following the worship service). You can also watch the service on Facebook Live.

If you wish to send a monetary contribution, please mail it to St. John Lutheran Church at P.O. Box 206, Poth, Tx 78147 or drop it off at the office on Tuesdays between 8-5. You can also donate online at Tithely.com.

St. John celebrated our 100 year anniversary on November 20, 2022.

Blood Drive is 10:30 - 3:30 in the parking lot in front of church (behind Poth City Hall).

Introduction

St. John Lutheran Church was built in 1922 and is a member of the ELCA. Pastor Kelly Tankersley and Beth Tankersley (guitarist)

lead us in worship and praise every week. Communion is celebrated the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Everyone is welcome to attend services and join in fellowship.

Service times

Worship services are held every Sunday at 9:00 AM with Sunday School immediately following the Children's Sermon.

Confirmation Classes are Sundays at 10:15 following the worship service.

Advent/Christmas Schedule:

Midweek Advent services are Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.

Christmas Eve Services are at 5:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Christmas Day Service is at 9:00 am. Communion will be offered at all 3 Christmas services. Everyone is welcomed to receive communion.

Easter Service Schedule:

Sonrise Service 7:00 am

Easter Breakfast 7:30 am

Easter Egg Hunt 8:00 am

Easter Resurrection Service 9:00 am

Midweek Lenten services are Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. in the Pavilion (behind Educational Building).

Maundy Thursday & Good Friday services are also at 6:30 pm.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend our services.
